  1. with the butterfly in the bowl add butter, cocoa powder and water. temp. 100, 10min, speed 2.
  2.  add flour, sugar and salt. 1 min, speed 3.
  3. now add buttermilk, baking soda, 2 tsp vanilla extract and eggs. 1 min, speed 3,5.
  4. divide batter in four 9inch rounded cake tins (rubbed with butter and flour) and baked in a preheated oven at 180ºC/350ºF for 20 minutes. Let it cool before frosting.

  1. wash Thermomix bowl and add cream, chocolate (in pieces) and vanilla extract. temp. 100, 7 min, speed 2. Make sure all the chocolate is melted. place bowl in fridge and to cool.
  2. once the mix is completely cooled put butterfly and set the speed to 3  until cream is light and airy.
  3. frost the cake in between layers, on the top and around sides.
